Visit from Maher

Maher and Hasan visited us for a couple of days and we spent lots of quality time together. We took them to Harrah's Casino....lost money. We also went for a nice drive in the the Smoky Mountains.

Sarah's Birthday

Chloe and Emma had a blast wishing Sarah a happy birthday at her princess birthday party. In case you are wondering, Sarah painted her eyebrows with eye shadow and so she has wild eyebrows for all of her birthday pictures. I am sure that one day she will look back on this and laugh.....maybe.

Sorry we have not stopped to blog lately....but we have been taking lots and lots of pictures. We have just been so busy. No more excuses. Check back and we will blog daily until we catch you up on everything we've been doing since we talked last.

This picture was taken in the Witchita Mountains in Oklahoma. We went on a day excursion while we visited Wael and Hana in Texas for Thanksgiving.

Trip to Dallas & The JFK Museum

Marwan, Jane, Jordan, the girls & Nanny Linda spent the day in Dallas. We especially enjoyed "The 6th Floor Museum" at Dealey Plaza. This was the building that originally housed the school book depository in which Oswald hid in the 6th floor window and shot and killed JFK as his motorcade travelled by. This was so emotional to walk by the window, hear the gunfire, listen to eyewitness accounts and see actual home movies of this world changing event.

The girls even behaved very well....believe it or not.

Trip to Wael & Hana's House

Our trip to Wichita Falls was full of family fun. Everyone enjoyed themselves and did not want the trip to end.

Trip to School

Yara & Ziad loved having us all visit their school for a pic-nic. Chloe especially enjoyed playing with the kids on the slide.

Marwan & Jane

Hello everyone! We spent the evening at Maurice & Terri's house. They had a big party and invited lots of couples. We even got a sitter for Emma & Chloe. We have only done this once before, so it felt really weird.... We had a great time. I'll blog some photos of the evening soon.

Cupcakes for everyone

Chloe "helped" mama make Dora the Explorer cupcakes tonight. The extent of her "help" was eating almost 2 cupcakes and making a total mess on the kitchen counter. She thought our cupcakes were yummy!
